Custom Print Technician

Central Paper Company located in Birmingham, Al., is a well-established family-owned company that has been meeting the needs of its customers since 1935. Due to the expansion of our Custom Print Division, we are looking for a qualified individual to join our team! In this hands-on role, you will operate a specialized printing machine to print high-quality custom designs on plastic cups for our customers. Primary Responsibilities:

Operate and maintain industrial or specialized printing machines to print custom designs, logos, and artwork onto plastic cups. Prepare print files, load materials, and set up jobs according to customer specifications. Perform quality checks on printed cups to ensure color accuracy, alignment, and overall print quality meets company standards. Package finished products and prepare orders for customer pickup or shipment. Clean and perform basic maintenance on printing equipment to keep it in optimal working condition. Follow all safety protocols and standard operating procedures. Assist with inventory management of cups, inks, and printing supplies.

Requirements:

Previous experience operating printing machines, screen printing, digital printing, or similar equipment is preferred but not required — we are willing to train the right candidate. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks. Basic computer skills (file management, simple design software). Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a small team.
