Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Digital Print Operator to join our innovative custom design printing team. The Digital Print Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining digital printing equipment to produce high-quality printed products according to customer specifications. Your expertise will ensure that each print meets our rigorous standards for color accuracy, precision, and overall quality. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Operate digital printing equipment, including large-format and production printers. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. Previous experience operating digital printing equipment Experience with RIP software, Adobe Acrobat, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar software Experience using Monday.com Basic computer skills. Strong attention to detail and quality. Ability to read and interpret work orders and production specifications. Good communication and teamwork skills. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Frequently lift, carry, or move materials weighing up to 50 pounds. Ability to bend, reach, stoop, and perform repetitive motions. Good vision, including color recognition, for quality inspection. Ability to work in a cold environment with moderate noise levels. Working Conditions Indoor digital print production and warehouse facility. must be able to tolerate cold temperatures due to printing equipment. Exposure to printing equipment, inks, adhesives, and finishing equipment. Required use of personal protective equipment (PPE) when applicable. Overtime may be required to meet production deadlines. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Understanding of digital printing processes and color management. Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. Strong organizational and time-management abilities. Ability to prioritize multiple jobs while maintaining quality standards. Commitment to workplace safety and continuous improvement. Review work orders on Monday.com to verify customer specifications, materials, quantities, and deadlines. Work closely with Graphic Designers to ensure print quality specifications Prepare print files and ensure correct settings before production. Load vinyl, wood veneer sheets and other print media into equipment. Monitor print quality throughout production and adjust as needed. Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and calibration of digital printing equipment. Trouble shoot printer errors and minor mechanical issues; report major equipment problems to management or service technicians. Trim, mount, or roll finished printed products for shipping as required. Conduct quality inspections to ensure color accuracy, alignment, and overall print quality. Maintain accurate production records and inventory of printing supplies. Keep the production area clean, organized, and compliant with company safety procedures. Assist with shipping, receiving, and other production tasks as needed. Meet production schedules while maintaining high standards of workmanship.
