Job Description

SUMMARY Join a growing manufacturing team where you'll prepare artwork and production files for high-quality flexographic printing. This role is ideal for someone with prepress experience who enjoys working with graphics, print production, and technical file preparation in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality and meeting production deadlines.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Review artwork and production specifications for accuracy before processing. Prepare production-ready files using industry-standard prepress software. Create traps, step-and-repeat layouts, and color separations for flexographic printing. Generate files for digital plate production while ensuring print readiness. Verify bleeds, die lines, registration marks, and overall file integrity. Collaborate with internal teams to resolve artwork or production issues. Maintain organized digital job records and support efficient workflow. Troubleshoot artwork-related print issues and contribute to continuous process improvements.
QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or equivalent; graphic arts or printing education is a plus. 2+ years of prepress experience, preferably in flexographic printing. Experience with trapping, step-and-repeat, color separations, and plate preparation. Proficiency with Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat, or comparable prepress software. Understanding of flexographic printing processes and production requirements. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities. Ability to accurately distinguish colors and occasionally lift up to 25 lbs.
