Job Description
Aura House Club is a premium podcast and video production studio with locations in Downtown Los Angeles and Beverly Hills. We host creators, brands, and media companies producing podcasts, branded content, and video series in fully equipped, design-forward spaces. Our clients range from independent hosts to national media brands, and our team is built around delivering a polished, seamless production experience from setup to final file handoff. The Role We are seeking a Video Technician to support in-studio productions across our locations. You will be responsible for camera setup, lighting, multicam switching, and media management for client sessions — ensuring every shoot runs on schedule and every file is delivered clean and complete. What You'll Do Set up, operate, and strike camera packages including Blackmagic Pocket Cinema 6K G2 and Sony FX3 bodies Adjust lighting setups using Aputure and Nanlite fixtures to match the look of each production Operate the ATEM Mini Pro ISO for multicam switching and isolated recording Frame and monitor shots throughout recording sessions, adjusting as needed Manage media: format cards, monitor recording status, offload footage, and verify file integrity before client handoff Troubleshoot technical issues calmly and quickly during live sessions Maintain a professional, welcoming presence with clients on set Keep studio equipment organized, charged, and shoot-ready Requirements Minimum 1 year of professional experience in video production or studio operations Working knowledge of digital cinema cameras, lenses, and basic lighting principles Comfort with media offloads and file management workflows Based in the Los Angeles area with reliable transportation Availability Monday through Saturday, including some early mornings and evenings Punctual, detail-oriented, and comfortable working directly with clients Able to lift and move production equipment A Major Plus Current film school student or recent film school graduate Experience with Blackmagic, Rodecaster or ATEM ecosystems specifically Familiarity with DaVinci Resolve Prior experience in a podcast or multicam studio environment
