Job Description

Circle Graphics is the world's foremost producer of grand and large-format digital graphics, and an industry leader in innovative products for outdoor advertising, business signage, wall decor, art reproduction, and the professional photography and art communities. Across 407,000 square feet of manufacturing facilities in the United States, we operate over 88 grand and large-format digital printers, custom automated finishing equipment, and coating capabilities that produce recyclable printed materials up to 16 feet wide. Our prepress department processes more than 20,000 files a day using proprietary software automation tools, and we run 7 days a week to deliver extraordinary customer service, printing over 431 million square feet of material annually. I. ROLE PURPOSE
The Core Tech I is an entry-level prepress professional responsible for setting up and processing core Out-of-Home (OOH) advertising products. Under close supervision, this role learns and follows established SOPs, maintains quality standards, and builds foundational skills across Prepress workflows. This is a learning and development role with a clear path toward Core Tech II upon meeting defined performance and skill benchmarks.
II. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Process core OOH products including Posters and Bulletins following established SOPs. Maintain a consistent volume of daily output while meeting quality standards. Learn and apply prepress workflows, tools, and quality control standards. Follow QC checklists and document findings accurately. Receive training on Wall, Transit Fleet, and Specialty products with support. Communicate file issues or production blockers to Core Lead or Specialty Tech in a timely manner. Participate in onboarding, SOP training, and shadowing programs. Support team production deadlines by prioritizing assigned work effectively.
III. ADDITIONAL TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
This role requires proactive, responsive communication throughout the day by monitoring the inbox continuously, reviewing, prioritizing, and addressing internal and external inquiries promptly. The expectation is clear, professional responses that accurately resolve questions and reflect a high standard of service. Strong triage skills — quickly identifying urgent messages, tracking ongoing threads, and keeping communication organized — are essential to supporting the team's daily workflow and ensuring no critical updates are missed.
IV. EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

High School Diploma or GED Preferred:
Associate's degree in Graphic Arts, Graphic Design, Print Production, or related field Equivalent combination of education and relevant experience will be considered Experience 0-1 year of prepress, graphic production, or related experience Entry-level creative or technical experience accepted Internship or coursework in print/graphic production is a plus
V. SPECIFIC SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
Technical Skills Basic proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign Ability to follow step-by-step technical processes Basic computer and file management skills Familiarity with print production concepts (preferred, not required) Soft Skills / Competencies Strong attention to detail and accuracy Critical thinking and problem-awareness Reliable attendance and punctuality Effective team communication Time management and ability to meet production deadlines
