Full Job Description Print Operator Job Responsibilities:
Prepares and runs jobs on the Xerox printers and ensures all jobs are completed timely and in accordance to customer specifications. Follows all quality control procedures relating to printing. Communicates all issues to Print Production Supervisor when needed. May work directly with Technical Analyst of Print Systems to resolve print output or software related issues. Troubleshoot problem areas in the printing process. Continues to train and learn the technical applications involved in the printing department. Troubleshoot printing equipment issues and work with vendors to resolve/correct problems. Complete all required paperwork and quality control sheets for each job produced. Abides by all guidelines and rules as contained in the Employment Handbook. Maintains positive customer, vendor, and employee relations. Maintains confidentiality of all information. Keeps Print Production Supervisor informed of all pertinent issues.
Print Operator Work Hours/Shifts Available:
Full Time, Second Shift Schedule:
Monday - Friday, approximately 12:30 PM-9:00 PM, occasional weekend work may be required. What will you need as a Print Operator? High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to read and interpret documents. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of work-related situations. To perform this job successfully, an individual should have some computer knowledge and computer skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment under time constraints and deadlines. Background in printing preferred but not mandatory. Good organization skills with attention to detail. While performing the duties of the job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 70 pounds.
