Job Description

1st Assistant Camera (1st AC) - Film Production Diamond Knight Studios is seeking a skilled and dependable 1st Assistant Camera (1st AC) to join the camera department for an upcoming film production. The 1st AC will work closely with the Director of Photography and Camera Operator to maintain the camera system and ensure consistent, accurate focus throughout filming.
Responsibilities:
Pull and maintain accurate focus during takes. Build, prep, and configure camera equipment for production. Assist with lens changes, filters, and camera accessories. Inspect and maintain camera equipment throughout the shoot. Measure and mark focus distances as needed. Troubleshoot camera-related technical issues on set. Assist with camera setup changes between shots. Maintain an organized and efficient camera department. Communicate closely with the Director of Photography and Camera Operator. Follow proper camera handling and on-set safety procedures. The ideal candidate has experience working in a professional camera department, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment.
Pay:
$150.00 per day
