Chicago, IL Job Summary We are seeking an experienced KBA Sheetfed Press Operator or similiar to operate and maintain an 8-color KBA sheetfed offset press equipped with an Inline Foiler . The ideal candidate will have a strong background in high-quality commercial and packaging printing, excellent color management skills, and experience producing premium printed products utilizing inline cold foil technology. Responsibilities Set up, operate, and maintain an 8-color KBA sheetfed offset press with Inline Foiler. Produce high-quality commercial and packaging products while meeting production schedules. Perform all make-ready functions, including plate hanging, blanket changes, ink and dampening adjustments, registration, and color matching. Operate inline foiling, coating, and other press options while maintaining production efficiency. Monitor print quality throughout production using densitometers and visual inspection. Troubleshoot press, print quality, registration, and mechanical issues. Perform routine preventive maintenance and keep the press in optimal operating condition. Minimize waste while maximizing press uptime and productivity. Maintain accurate production and quality records. Follow all company safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment. Work closely with prepress, finishing, maintenance, and production personnel to ensure on-time delivery. Qualifications Minimum 2 years of experience operating KBA sheetfed offset presses or similar. Experience operating 8-color presses with Inline Foiler preferred. Strong understanding of CMYK process printing, Pantone color matching, and registration. Experience printing commercial and folding carton packaging products. Knowledge of press maintenance and troubleshooting. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods. Willingness to work overtime and flexible shifts as production require Expected hours: 40.0 - 60.0 per weekBenefits:
