Shift Location:

Park Ridge, IL Pay:

$22-$38 per hour

Medical, Dental & Vision Key Responsibilities File Preflighting:

Review incoming customer files and job tickets for errors, including resolution, missing fonts, incorrect dimensions, and other potential production issues.

Color Correction:

Adjust color profiles, separations, and ink density to meet Pantone standards and client-approved samples.

File Optimization:

Perform trapping, add bleeds, and manage imposition to ensure pages are properly arranged for press production.

Proofing:

Create digital and/or physical proofs and mockups for customer approval prior to final production.

Equipment Operation & Maintenance:

Operate and maintain plate-making equipment, digital printers, and proofing systems. Collaborate with production and other team members to ensure files are accurate and ready for production. Qualifications & Skills Strong working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop. Experience with specialized prepress workflow tools such as Enfocus PitStop or Kodak

PRINERGY.

Solid understanding of CMYK, spot/Pantone colors, bleeds, resolution, trapping, and imposition. Knowledge of offset, flexographic, and/or digital printing processes. Excellent visual acuity and analytical skills, with a strong ability to identify layout and production issues before printing. High school diploma required; a certificate or associate degree in graphic arts, printing technology, desktop publishing, or a related field is preferred. Typically 1-5 years of hands-on experience in a print production, prepress, or publishing environment. CTP (Computer-to-Plate) or platemaking experience is a plus.
