Camera Operator International Sound Corporation - 4.0 Bossier City, LA Job Details Part-time From $250 a day 1 day ago Qualifications Camera operator experience Ladder use Live event videography Broadcast cameras Performing background checks Full Job Description International Sound Corporation has an immediate opening for a local Camera Operator for the production and recording of a live television broadcast show for a Thoroughbred and Quarter Horse Racetrack located in Bossier City, Louisiana. The candidate should have the ability to operate a profession broadcast camera in a live production environment. The candidate must have the ability to climb a ladder up and down a patrol tower throughout the day and must not have a fear of heights. Prior experience is required for this position and will include taking direction from the on site Technical Director. The candidate must be available to work all racing performances and have reliable transportation. The position is a part time and seasonal with an ongoing 60 day Thoroughbred racing season that began in May and is conducted through September 30th. Additionally, a 46 day Winter Quarter Horse meet is conducted on the first week of January through the end of March. Remaining Thoroughbred Racing Days are as follows: August All Monday's, Tuesday's, and Wednesday's. September (Through 9/30) All Monday's, Tuesday's, and Wednesday's, plus Saturday 9/12 and 9/19. Daily work hours for the Thoroughbred meet are from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Daily work hours for the Quarter Horse meet are from 10:30 AM until 4:00 PM. The candidate must pass a background check and obtain an occupational license with the Louisiana Racing Commission after they are hired. The position will pay $250.00 each live racing day.
