Ghost Sports TV (GSTV), a production of Flying Ghost Productions, is looking for an experienced Camera Operator to join our live broadcast crew for the 2026-27 St. Helena High School football and basketball season . This isn't just standing behind a camera. You'll be part of the production team bringing live St. Helena sports to fans, families, alumni, and supporters who can't always make it into the stands. From Friday night football to basketball inside a packed gym, you'll help capture the action and atmosphere that make high school sports special. Responsibilities As a GSTV Camera Operator, you will: Operate a broadcast camera during live football and basketball games Follow fast-moving game action while delivering steady, well-framed shots Work directly with the broadcast director and follow live production cues Assist with camera and production equipment setup before kickoff or tip-off Capture key plays, celebrations, crowd reactions, player entrances, and other important moments Maintain focus and professional camera operation throughout the live broadcast Assist the production crew as needed before and after games What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who: Has previous camera, videography, photography, or production experience Understands basic shot composition and framing Can smoothly follow fast-moving sports action Takes direction well and can respond quickly to cues from the broadcast director Is dependable and arrives on time Is comfortable working in live production environments Can work both outdoor football games and indoor basketball games Has a strong interest in sports, video production, or broadcasting Previous live sports or broadcast experience is preferred but not required. Strong videography or camera experience can also be a great fit. Compensation $125-$175 per game Final rate is based on experience and ability. This is seasonal, game-based work covering St. Helena High School football and basketball. Why Join GSTV?
