Job Description

Join a team of dedicated professionals at Pageworks , a leader in print and visual communications based in Grand Rapids, Michigan. We are currently seeking a Prepress Specialist to join our production team. If you have a keen eye for detail, a passion for color accuracy, and strong technical skills in prepress and composition software, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
Perform high-quality color corrections and image adjustments to meet client and production standards Prepare digital files for both traditional offset and digital print production Preflight, troubleshoot, and optimize files for press Work closely with internal departments (sales, customer service, production) to ensure project accuracy and efficiency Communicate directly with customers when needed to clarify artwork issues or specifications Maintain file organization and ensure consistency across projects Operate in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while maintaining exceptional quality
Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in a prepress or related print production role Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) and other industry-standard composition tools Strong understanding of color theory , color management, and print production workflows Experience preparing files for both digital and offset printing Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate across departments and with clients Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills Why Pageworks?
