SCHEDULE
12-hour rotating schedule. 6am-6pm
PURPOSE OF POSITION
Provide prompt and accurate mounting support to the press area in an effort to ensure quality of product while maintaining above average production rates.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Know and follow all SAFETY procedures. Prepare printing plates accurately and in a timely manner according to work order priority. Inspect/Inventory all used printing plates and return to their proper storage area. Communicate with supervisor, scheduler, and press operators to ensure continual running of presses. Complete all required paperwork. Aid in the training of newly hired Plate Mounters. Assist the Printing crew as needed. Maintain cleanliness of assigned area and the department. Incumbents will follow any other instructions, and perform any other related duties, as may be required by their supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, EDUCATION REQUIRED
Good eye and hand coordination. Basic Math skills including the ability to read/use a tape measure. Good verbal communication. Ability to follow detailed instructions, prioritize multiple tasks, and work independently. Ability to work under pressure and within time constraints. Problem solving abilities.
