Running Aces Casino Hotel Racetrack - 15201 Running Aces Blvd, Columbus, MN 55025

Camera Operator:
The Camera Operator is responsible for taking video during live racing events. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Prep and set up camera equipment Operation of broadcast studio big lens cameras with control arms as directed by the Director Framing and composition of shots as specified by the Director White balance focus and iris control to ensure quality of video signal Responding quickly to directions Liaising with staff Check camera angles and movements Must be able to learn new camera techniques quickly Skills/Requirements Must be able to work in a fast paced live video production setting Must be able to maintain a good, steady camera shot while walking around the camera mount Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills - including being fluent and literate in English Ability to maintain a high level professionalism Ability to interact with colleagues and resolve problems and conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner Possesses excellent problem solving, organizational, and time management skills Must possess the ability to obtain Minnesota Racing Commission license Physical, intellectual and environmental conditions: Ability to work flexible shifts and days of the week including night, weekends and holidays Ability to push, pull, carry and lift up to 50lbs, and the ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop, stack, crouch, kneel, and balance when performing job duties in varying work areas such as confined spaces Must be able to climb a 40-foot ladder to reach the camera tower Must be able to work flexible shifts in a fast-paced, crowded, and noisy environment Additional Notes Must be present onsite for this position We are committed to providing salary ranges for all open positions.
