JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Create Die lines for new labels Build jobs from customers supplied art with Esko and Adobe Software. Attend Pre-Production calls as needed. Support Print trials and travel when needed. Technical support for the ASDs digital presses. Training new personnel as needed. Perform all FFU (fit for use) tasks accepting or rejecting artwork with good record keeping and follow up. Attend Press approvals color match and file review. Works overtime as needed and perform related duties as assigned.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's or associate degree from an accredited two-year college or graphics arts school; or 5 years' experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Proven experience with job building and understanding graphic design. Must have good trouble shooting capabilities. Understanding of Digital, flexographic and rotary screen printing. Must have good interpersonal skills and be able to interface with all departments. Must understand color theory and be able to color match jobs on digital presses.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Must be able to stand for long periods of time. Must have the ability to match or detect differences between colors, including shades of color and brightness. Must be able to function as part of a team in sharing information, flexible schedules, training of others team members and working together to complete a task. Must be able to work under pressure. Must be able to lift and/or move 10 pounds. Must be able to understand and carry out oral instructions as well as read, understand and carry out simple and complicated written instructions. Must be able to inspect, examine and observe for obvious and hard to see product or equipment defects. •Hiring for 1st and 2nd shift•1st shift 6am-2pm 2nd shift 2pm-10pm
