Job Description
RCO is seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented Color Assist with thorough knowledge of the DaVinci Resolve conform and color pipeline. Baselight and Autodesk Flame assist knowledge is a big plus as well. This job is in-person but open to being hybrid. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Prepping footage for grade and/or vfx which includes transcoding, consolidating and assembling short form and long form conforms. Media management of footage required for the project. Finishing and outputting of exports for delivery to client specifications. Quality control for all renders and exports. This includes careful reviews of all project renders for picture errors and technical issues for delivery. Uploading renders for delivery/postings or copying to drive if requested by client. Logging and tracking of footage and drives that are sent and received from our vault. Communicate with the producer should any issues arise. Communicate with the artist about all the details of the project to ensure a smooth handoff. Archiving and restoring of files to LTO tape. Creating DCPs and/or IMFs for film delivery.
