Job Description
International Sound Corporation has an immediate opening for a local Camera Operator in the Columbus, Ohio area. The job requires the use of a professional broadcast camera in a live environment. This is an exciting opportunity for energetic people looking to begin a career in the broadcasting industry. Training will be included in this entry level position. The candidate will need to take direction from the on-site Technical Director. This position is part time and seasonal at a Harness Racetrack in Columbus, Ohio. The live racing season currently underway and runs through Saturday September 19th. The general work schedule will consist of approximately 7 hour days and about 35 hours per week as follows: Tuesday's through Saturdays from 4:25 PM until Midnight. On Saturday July 4th the work day will begin at 2:00 PM until 10:00 PM. Note there is no live racing on Tuesday May 26th, All Wednesdays in the month of August, or Wednesday September 9th. Added racing nights will be held on Monday May 25th. Added special racing nights will be held on: Friday October 16th, Saturday October 17th, Friday October 23rd, and Saturday October 24th. The starting rate of pay is $15.00 per hour for this position. The candidate will need to obtain an occupational license with the Ohio Racing Commission at the track.
