This role blends creative graphic design with technical prepress expertise, giving you the rewarding opportunity to design, prepare files, and print your work on our digital presses. While we can train the right candidate on specific print production workflows and equipment, we prioritize candidates with strong graphic design and prepress experience in a print production environment. You'll help ensure files are production-ready, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate closely with our team and clients to deliver exceptional results from concept through finished product. Responsibilities Prepare and review design files for print production, ensuring all specifications meet industry standards and client requirements. Manage color management processes, including calibration and proofing, to guarantee consistent color reproduction across various media. Collaborate with graphic designers, marketing teams, and vendors to optimize artwork for print and digital outputs. Conduct quality checks on final files, verifying layout accuracy, font embedding, resolution, and bleed settings before printing. Utilize graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite to refine artwork and prepare production-ready files. Implement print production workflows, including file organization, version control, and documentation for seamless manufacturing processes. Operate digital presses Stay updated on industry trends in print design, digital art, typography, color theory, and prepress techniques to continually enhance output quality. Qualifications Proven experience in graphic design with a strong focus on prepress and print production processes. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite. Understanding of color management systems and color theory principles for accurate media reproduction. Knowledge of print manufacturing processes. Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills to manage multiple projects efficiently. Ability to communicate clearly with team members and clients.
