$75 per race day
Schedule:
Seasonal, part-time (typically 4-6 hours per shift)
Location:
Dayton, Ohio Join our live broadcast team and help bring the excitement of harness racing to viewers across North America. We are seeking dependable Camera Operators to work race days capturing live action for professional simulcast broadcasts. This is an excellent opportunity for students, aspiring broadcasters, videographers, content creators, or anyone interested in gaining hands-on experience in live sports production. No professional broadcast experience is required—we will train the right candidates. Responsibilities Operate a fixed-position broadcast camera during live racing events Follow direction from the broadcast producer/director Track horses and capture race action throughout the event Arrive on time and prepared for scheduled race days Maintain a professional and team-oriented attitude Qualifications Reliable transportation and punctual attendance Ability to focus and follow instructions in a fast-paced live environment Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions Ability to remain seated or standing for extended periods Previous camera, video, photography, or broadcasting experience is a plus, but not required Ideal For College students studying communications, media, film, journalism, or broadcasting Freelance videographers and photographers seeking supplemental income Sports fans interested in live event production Anyone looking for flexible, part-time seasonal work What We Offer Paid training Hands-on experience in live sports broadcasting Flexible seasonal schedule Opportunity to work with an experienced production team Valuable experience for resumes and portfolios If you're interested in sports, broadcasting, or live event production and are looking for a flexible side gig, we'd love to hear from you.
