Job Description
SchoolPride Ltd is a design and print manufacturer based in Columbus, Ohio. We work with a wide variety of customers in the academic and athletic fields to create custom signage, graphics and athletic helmet decals. We're growing our printing department to build on our 26 years of experience. Print Operator/Pre-Press This is a hybrid position that splits time between pre-press and large format printing. For the pre-press role, you'll be working with our lead pre-press designer to set up, color sample and build/rip runs for a variety of products. For the printing role, you'll be working with our print operator to balance the workload across a range of large format printers. This also includes printer maintenance, troubleshooting, inventory and quality control. This is a vital position in our production process so we're looking for candidates who are comfortable in a fast-paced, highly detailed environment. Strong communications skills are necessary to solve problems efficiently. Must be proficient in Adobe Illustrator and prior printing experience is preferred. Full-Time Position (40 hours per week) $20 per hour 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday PTO, Holiday Pay and Health Insurance (with optional dental and vision insurance) after probationary period 401k matching after 1 year of employment Start Date Early August Requirements Must be proficient in Adobe Illustrator. Prior experience with rip software preferred Must be able to stand 4-5 hours a day and carry up to 50 lbs Detail-Oriented
