Job Description
Position Overview The Prepress Technician is responsible for reviewing, preparing, and correcting customer artwork to ensure files are accurate and ready for printing. Responsibilities Review and prepare customer artwork and files for print. Check files for proper size, resolution, color, bleeds, and other print specifications. Make necessary file adjustments and corrections. Prepare proofs and ensure artwork meets job requirements. Set up files for digital and wide-format printing. Communicate artwork or file concerns with appropriate team members. Maintain organized job files and accurate job information. Qualifications Prepress, graphic design, or commercial printing experience preferred. Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, including Illustrator, Photoshop, and Acrobat. Knowledge of digital and wide-format printing processes preferred. Strong understanding of file preparation, color, resolution, and print specifications. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple jobs and meet deadlines. Strong problem-solving and communication skills. Dependable and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Performance Expectations Accurate, print-ready files. Timely completion of prepress work. Minimal file-related errors and reprints. Strong communication and organization. Consistent attention to quality and accuracy.
