Camera Operator

Looking for a camera operator for a shoot Saturday, March 28 in Janesville, WI. This is a run-and-gun doc-style shoot capturing street interviews at a No Kings Day public gathering / demonstration + b-roll. Must be comfortable working in crowds and public environments. The event is from 10 AM - 1 PM, so call time will be an hour or so prior to that, and wrap after event. No overtime is expected. Single camera setup; quick tripod setups or shoulder-mounted work. Looking for someone who is a team player and nimble + flexible on the go.

Lean crew:

Camera + Sound + Associate Field Producer (handheld mic setup). If you have a preferred crew to bring on, open to recommendations -- familiarity and existing shorthand is always a plus! Ability to put interviewees at ease is required, as this is man-on-the-street style content with people likely not used to being on camera. Local hire only; no hotel. Mileage reimbursement provided ($0.67/mile) and $25 per diem. Proxies due within 24 hours; will need you to ship the drive to production (UPS or FedEx) and send via file sharing service like WeTransfer or otherwise.
