$20.00- 22.
Shift:
1st, 2ndHours:
5:00am-3:00pm; 3:00pm-1:00am QPS Employment Group has a great Press Technician position available at a company in Manitowoc, WI. This is a 1st and 2nd shift position with the opportunity for hire. Press Technician Responsibilities include but are not limited to:- Operating presses and following checklists, procedures, and guidelines to production flow to meet customer specifications.
- Inspect brass casings for cosmetic and functional defects using precision instruments (calipers, micrometers) for quality monitoring.
- Utilizing PLEX production software effectively.
- Performing mechanical adjustments, preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting equipment issues.
- Adheres to all safety requirements, including cleaning the work area, lockout/tagout, and wearing required PPE.
Press Technician Requirements:
- Previous experience working in manufacturing preferred.
- Ability to work with large press machinery.
- Prior forklift experience is a plus.
- Intellectual curiosity, passion for machinery, positive attitude, self-discipline, and commitment to the company's mission.
- Must be detail-oriented with a high degree of quality and accuracy.
- Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to lift, twist, pull, and bend as required.
- Must successfully pass pre-employment screening.
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong mechanical, mathematical, reading comprehension, and troubleshooting skills.
- Demonstrate safe work practices, ability to work independently and within a team environment, and strong communication skills.
