Job Description
International Sound Corporation has an immediate opening for a local ENG Camera Operator for the production of a live television broadcast show for a local Thoroughbred Racetrack in Charles Town, West Virginia. The candidate must have experience in operating a professional broadcast camera in a live environment. The candidate will need to take direction from the on-site Technical Director. This job requires the ability to carry a 25 pound shoulder camera throughout the work shift, and be able to walk and stand outside in the elements during the shifts. Training will be provided for the position by our Site Director. The position is a part time and year round. Generally, work shifts include Thursday through Saturday evenings from 6:30 PM to 11:30 PM. Additionally, Wednesday racing is conducted in Mid-November through the end of the month of March. You must have reliable transportation and be able to work all of the live racing performances as listed above. The candidate must pass a background check and obtain an occupational license with the West Virginia Racing Commission after they are hired. The starting hourly rate of pay is $15.00.
