Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and skilled Press Brake Operator to join our team. In this job, you will be responsible for operating heavy machinery, press braking, and reading blue prints to insure that projects meet quality standards while supporting manufacturing initiatives. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, utilizing advanced welding techniques and fabrication skills to bring designs to life. Responsibilities Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine fabrication requirements. Use hand tools, power tools, press brake machines, and other fabrication equipment to cut, shape, and assemble sheet metal, pipes, and structural components. Measure materials precisely with calipers, micrometers, and other measuring devices to ensure proper fit and alignment. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and inspecting tools and equipment regularly. Skills Some knowledge in MIG and TIG welding are a plus! Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately. Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, press brake machines, and machining equipment. Strong mechanical knowledge. Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and layout work; experience with calipers and micrometers essential. Experience operating forklifts or other lifting equipment are a plus. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments while maintaining high quality standards.
