The Position - Trumpf Punch Press Operator Grating Pacific is actively seeking an experienced Trumpf Punch Press Operator. This is a full-time position that will be required to complete a contract assignment through a third-party agency before becoming a full-time employee. Once the contract assignment is completed and full-time employment is offered, the position will convert to a benefitted position to include medical, dental, vision, and flex spending account programs, as well as Paid Time Off (PTO), paid holidays, and 401k and profit-sharing eligibility. This is a 40+ hour per week position. Responsibilities Set up, operate, and maintain Trumpf TruPunch 3000 machine Select, install, and maintain punch press tooling Monitor and inspect machine operations making real-time adjustments for optimal machine production. Assist with sheet metal operations to include laser cutting, press brake forming, shear cutting, and inventory management. Review shop drawings and project sheets for job information and details Maintain a safe and clean work area Qualifications 2+ year punch press operation experience 2+ years sheet metal handling 1+ year forklift operations Tape measure literacy Strong attention to detail and accurate data entry experience. Strong communication and outstanding customer service skills
