In this role, you will learn to set up and operate press brake equipment used in precision sheet metal fabrication. Previous manufacturing or sheet metal experience is preferred but not required—we provide hands-on training for candidates who are eager to learn and grow in a fast-paced production environment. Key Responsibilities Set up and operate press brake machines, including tooling installation, material handling, and production bending. Select appropriate tooling and perform trial bends to verify setup accuracy. Inspect first-piece and finished parts, making machine adjustments as needed to meet engineering specifications and quality standards. Perform a variety of bending operations, including rolling, pre-bending, and other forming processes. Assist with secondary fabrication processes such as hole extrusion, tapping, riveting, prototype assembly, and basic troubleshooting. Perform routine preventive maintenance on press brake equipment and tooling, and complete maintenance inspection records. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area while following OSHA standards and company safety procedures. Assist with other production and manufacturing tasks as assigned. Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and follow instructions. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and workplace safety. Good communication and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Willingness to work overtime as needed, including occasional evenings and Saturdays. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in a manufacturing, production, warehouse, or sheet metal fabrication environment. Experience operating press brake or other Computer Numerical Control (CNC) manufacturing equipment. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and manufacturing blueprints. Mechanical aptitude and basic troubleshooting skills. Experience with precision sheet metal fabrication, metal enclosure manufacturing, or high-volume production. Forklift certification is a plus. Work Schedule Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM Overtime may be required based on production needs.
