Job Overview iStaffing is hiring an experienced Press Brake Operator to set up and operate press brake machines to bend and form sheet metal according to blueprints and specifications. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and experienced in a manufacturing or fabrication environment. Responsibilities Set up and operate manual, hydraulic, or CNC press brake machines. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders. Select and install proper tooling and dies. Adjust machine settings, including angle, pressure, and back gauge. Measure and inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, protractors, and other measuring tools. Identify and correct bending, alignment, and material issues. Perform basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting. Maintain a clean and safe work area. Complete production and quality documentation. Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements. Qualifications 1-3+ years of press brake operating experience. CNC press brake experience preferred. Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings. Experience using precision measuring tools. Knowledge of sheet metal properties, bend allowances, and tooling. Basic math and measurement skills. Strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude. Ability to stand for extended periods Strong communication and teamwork skills. Preferred Experience CNC press brake controls such as Amada, Cincinnati, LVD, or Trumpf. Experience with quality control or ISO standards. Previous fabrication, metalworking, or manufacturing experience.
