Job Summary Rack, un-rack and package customer product in a safe and productive manner. In addition, assists the Team Leader with training and on boarding of new racker employees and serves as the "go to" person for racking questions. Duties Communicate daily goals and ensure targets are met. Monitor product quality and ensure customer standards are met. Follow and update daily production schedules. Read blueprints to determine correct racking/un-racking needs. Coordinate with line operators for special part or process requirements. Identify tooling needs and request replacements or upgrades. Independently rack/un-rack parts per customer specifications. Inspect parts before racking; report any issues. Perform all required customer performance tests. Package parts correctly based on work orders. Handle all parts and tools carefully to avoid damage. Record racking details accurately on work orders. Follow all safety procedures, especially when handling hazardous materials. Keep equipment and work area clean and organized. Experience Previous experience in machining or manufacturing environments is preferred. Familiarity with quality inspection processes and mechanical knowledge is essential. Skills in electrical discharge machining, blueprint reading, press brake machine operation, plasma cutting, lathe operation, and general machining will be an advantage. A strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work is crucial for success in this role.
