Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Press Brake Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining press brake machines to shape and form metal sheets with precision and efficiency. Your expertise in blueprint interpretation, machine operation, and measurement will ensure the production of high-quality metal components that meet strict safety and quality standards. . Duties Set up and operate Amada press brake machines to bend and form sheet metal according to detailed technical drawings and specifications Interpret mechanical blueprints, technical drawings, and shop math to determine proper machine setup and tooling requirements Adjust machine parameters to achieve precise angles, dimensions, and tolerances during production runs Conduct quality inspections using precision measuring instruments to verify the accuracy of formed parts Maintain safety standards by adhering to all safety protocols during machine operation and handling of materials Collaborate with team members on tooling selection, machine setup, and process improvements for increased productivity Experience Proven experience operating Amada press brake machines in a manufacturing or metal fabrication environment Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints accurately Knowledge of shop math, measurement techniques, and precision measurement instruments essential for quality control Hands-on experience with forming machines, stamping presses, plasma cutting tools, hand tools, and tooling setup required Understanding of safety standards in production environments along with the ability to follow safety protocols diligently Ability to work efficiently in a team setting while maintaining attention to detail and quality standards
