In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for setting up and operating press brake machines to bend and shape sheet metal with precision and efficiency. Your expertise will ensure that all fabricated components meet strict quality standards while adhering to safety protocols. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to high-quality metal fabrication projects in a fast-paced, safety-conscious environment. Duties Set up and operate press brake machines, ensuring accurate bending according to detailed blueprints and technical specifications Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) standards to produce precise parts Adjust machine settings and tooling to achieve desired angles, dimensions, and surface finishes Conduct routine inspections using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments to verify part accuracy Perform quality inspections throughout the production process to ensure adherence to specifications and standards Maintain a clean, organized work area and perform routine maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance Collaborate with fabrication, welding, and assembly teams to meet production deadlines and quality goals Experience Proven experience operating AMADA press brake machines in a manufacturing or metal fabrication environment. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints accurately. Familiarity with CNC programming, CNC laser cutting, plasma cutting, CNC milling machines, CNC lathe, stamping presses, and other machining equipment is highly desirable. Knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) principles for precise measurement and quality control. Experience with welding, forming machines, sheet metal fabrication, and assembly processes is a plus. Ability to use measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges for quality inspection purposes. Basic shop math skills including fractions, decimals, geometry calculations necessary for machining tasks. Pay:
$26.00 - $35.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
