Job Description The press brake operator will operate Trumpf, Amada, Accurpress, and Di-Acro press brakes and needs to have experience and confidence in reading blueprints, identifying bend deductions, understanding flat pattern layouts, and bend sequencing. The press brake operator will be comfortable with an ever changing set of parts, materials, and bend complexities and will be a subject matter expert within our manufacturing and engineering team, providing insights on how the company can improve processes, increase efficiency, and maintain high quality. Responsibilities Receive and assess the part production routing and blueprints for each part Identify, select, and install the proper tooling Check parts against the tolerances and dimensions outlined in the blueprints Operate the press brakes and identify areas for machine maintenance and process improvements Disassemble and store the tooling and oversee the organization and inventory of tooling Prepare and move metal materials in the shop Operate sanding and grinding equipment as needed Operate hardware installation machines as needed Clean warehouse space and equipment Pack finished products on pallets for customer delivery Qualifications Hard-working and humble personality Ability to work under pressure Commitment to solving problems and finding solutions Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work on your feet for eight hours per day Ability to pass a drug test and commit to a drug and substance-free environment 3+ years of press brake operation experience is required Beneficial experience: Trumpf press brake experience, manufacturing experience, forklift certification, precision sheet metal fabrication experience hardware installation, comfort with machinery and tools including press brakes, punches, grinders, and saws Salary and Benefits Compensation dependent on experience, ranging from $20.00 - $28.00 per hour, plus possible overtime
