August 31, 2026 Press Brake Operator Augusta, GA $20 - $31 / per hour Full time Apply Now Back Job Description A Press Brake Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining press brake machines to bend, shape, and form metal parts according to precise specifications.
- Follow and execute work according to specified instructions, including sequence based controls, work instructions, and engineering drawings.
- Perform proper machine start up and shut down procedures.
- Set up, load, and operate brake or punch press equipment according to planned configurations.
- Evaluate product quality, identify issues, and take corrective actions to prevent external defects or dimensional problems.
- Select and use appropriate metal finishing tools (grinders, abrasives, etc.) to meet surface finish requirements.
- Safely operate material handling equipment such as cranes, positioners, magnets, and hooks.
- Use material control devices including fixtures, templates, and related tools.
- Maintain safe and responsible work practices at all times.
