Advanced Metalcraft is a leader in precision sheet metal fabrication, serving a wide range of industries. We take pride in being family owned and operated for over 30 years. We are currently seeking a highly skilled Press Brake Operator with strong set-up experience to join our growing team!

Position Summary:

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience operating and setting up press brakes , with a strong background in precision fabrication . This role involves advanced set-up tasks, including assisting with production planning, providing technical guidance to other operators and occasional hand forming.

Key Responsibilities:

Set up and operate press brakes (Amada experience preferred) Select proper dies and gauges, adjust ram stroke to form a variety of parts accurately Form parts to precise angles and lengths without relying solely on work instructions Determine proper forming sequences for multiple-hit parts with or without work instructions Assist with advanced setups for junior operators and support production planning as needed Accurately read and interpret engineering blueprints and drawings Follow verbal and written work instructions Maintain a clean and safe work environment Active participation in quality control procedures.

Preferred Qualifications:

Minimum 7 years of press brake operation and set-up experience Forklift experience and/or certification preferred Strong understanding of metal forming, setup techniques, and forming sequences Solid problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills Ability to work independently, and as part of a team Why Join Us?
