Full Job Description Position:
Press Brake Set Up & Operator Reports to: Production Supervisor Press Brake Set Up & Operators will use the following Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) to maintain product conformity in a safe and efficient manner.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Safety is our primary concern and responsibility. Set up Press Brake to form products to Customer specifications and follow instructions of sequential steps to form products correctly. Confirm product is correct by checking the parts you are producing ensuring they are in specification and will be maintained throughout the run. If the occasion arises that the material thickness varies within a single job occurs, blanks are to be segregated and if the set-up is changed to accommodate this variance, the part must be re-submitted to QC for approval. Work in a fast-paced environment with fast-changing priorities. Keep work area clean and organized. Provide a great level of attention to detail and focus on the given task. Follow all company rules and policies. Follow all safety rules and quality standards. Work with team members to maximize productivity and efficiency. Running other machines and performing other operations as instructed by the Production supervisor. Lift raw materials, final products, and items manually, or using Forklift. Uphold all ISO and OSHA standards applicable to the responsibilities above.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS
Good math and Communication skills are required. High school diploma or GED is preferred. Background in Setting up and operating Press brakes safely in a production environment. Knowledge of Forklift safety rules. Flexible schedule is required; this position requires shift work as well as some weekend work. Must be a strong team player and reliable. Knowledge of lifting techniques. Ability to lift heavy items.
