Job Description

JOB SUMMARY
Operate the Press Brake machines and support the production team by assembling parts, operating machinery, and punching or sawing metal products as instructed by production demands. Produce a variety of parts, all of which must meet the dimensional specifications of the mechanically engineered drawings.
JOB FUNCTIONS
Essential Functions Set up and perform machine operations requiring a high degree of skill and experience in a manufacturing environment. Set up proper punches and dies based on material thickness and type. Read and understand engineering tool and prototype drawings and specifications. Inspect own production frequently using proper gauges or measuring instrument in order to hold precise tolerances for quality control. Set up tooling, load programs, and set machine parameters to ensure optimal performance of the equipment. Required for All Jobs Performs other duties as assigned. Following all rules, policies, and procedures established by Wood-Mizer, including codes of conduct, safety regulations, and other guidelines. Showing up for work on time and adhering to Wood-Mizer's attendance policies is a fundamental responsibility for all employees. Collaborating with colleagues and contributing to a positive team environment. Conducting oneself in a professional manner, which includes maintaining a positive attitude, respecting colleagues, and presenting oneself appropriately. Completing assigned tasks and projects within the given time frame, meeting deadlines, and delivering on commitments.
QUALIFICATIONS
Work Experience 1-3 years Machining Experience Required 1-3 years Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing Practices Preferred Licenses and Certifications N/A Education High School Diploma General Studies Required Trade School Certificate in any Technical areas Preferred 2ND
