About the Role As a Metal Fabrication Technician, you will play a vital role in our production team by managing CNC press brake operations to deliver high-quality sheet metal components. You will leverage your technical expertise in machine setup and blueprint interpretation to optimize fabrication workflows and ensure consistent output that meets rigorous quality standards. Responsibilities Configure and calibrate CNC press brake machinery to meet precise project specifications and work orders. Execute complex bending and forming operations to achieve high-volume production targets while maintaining strict quality control. Analyze fabrication processes to identify opportunities for efficiency gains and improved material utilization. Perform routine equipment inspections to proactively identify maintenance needs and ensure operational uptime. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline project handoffs and provide technical insights for ongoing production improvements. Maintain a safe, organized, and compliant workspace in alignment with
ISO 9001
standards and OSHA safety protocols. Qualifications Required Skills Proven experience in CNC press brake setup and operation. Strong proficiency in reading and interpreting technical blueprints, including tolerances and material specifications. Demonstrated ability to use precision measuring tools such as digital calipers and protractors. Solid understanding of sheet metal properties, gauges, and finishing techniques. Effective problem-solving skills with a focus on mechanical troubleshooting. Preferred Skills Prior experience working within an
ISO 9001
certified manufacturing environment. Experience utilizing production software for record-keeping and inventory tracking. Strong verbal and written communication skills to facilitate team collaboration.
