POSITION OVERVIEW

: The Press Operator is responsible for the effective and efficient operation of a press machine through the administration of equipment, preventative maintenance and quality control while minimizing down time and ensuring safety. DUTIES and

RESPONSIBILITIES

: Set up and operate a variety of presses (punch, forming and progressive dies) Operation of overhead hoist Maintain a well-organized and safe work environment in accordance with 6S. Organize production requirements Maintain accurate counts Understand and adhere to product acceptability and quality requirements Accurate and consistent record keeping

IFS. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

: High School Diploma or equivalent Minimum 2 years' experience metal working and/or fabrication

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
