AWT has the following position open in our Grand Blanc location: Inspection High Speed / Press Operator The schedule for this position is Thursday-Friday-Saturday, Hours are - 5:00 am - 5:30 pm. Work 3-12 hour days, paid for 40 hours. Additional days and hours may be necessary due to production requirements. Required Job Duties 1.Practices safe work habits according to documented finishing practices. 2. Maintains an organized work space daily, including cleaning table surfaces and proactively moving materials and carts for optimum use of space. 3. Completes jobs , including documentations of appropriate inspections according to work instructions. 4. Works closely with press operators to produce product with zero defects. 5. Notifies quality in the event that any nonconforming condition occurs. Initiates and contains any product that may jeopardize customer satisfaction . Fills out appropriate paperwork for containment activities. 6. Submits material requisition forms for any supplies required to minimize downtime and assure efficiency. 7. Works with team members to accomplish goals and to recommend improvements in both product and process 8. Runs a high inspection machine, computer knowledge needed.
