Press Brake Operator

Job Overview We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Brake Press Operstor to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting the fabrication and assembly staff with the manufacturing of metal parts and assemblies using a variety of tools and techniques. All candidates must be able to setup their own jobs using both European and Imperial tooling and efficiently operate Cincinnati brake presses. Please read that again - we aren't kidding. Duties Setup and operate Cincinnati brake presses. Setup your own jobs without supervision using both European and Imperial tooling. Support assembly personnel with bolting together machines, running wiring and installing electrical components. Support QA personnel with Quality Checking parts. Operate various power tools to cut, shape, and assemble materials. Follow all shop safety and quality standards. Use calipers and other measuring instruments to accurately check dimensions against drawings. Drive to pick up materials (compensated by the mile for personal vehicle use) Assist with shop cleaning and organization. Support shop maintenance and repair tasks. Experience Must have significant experience setting up and executing brake press jobs using both European and Imperial tooling. Ability to work safely around machinery and adhere to all safety guidelines in a manufacturing setting. Experience operating Cincinnati brake presses would be an asset
