• Become a key part of our dynamic production team as an experienced Press Operator. You will operate and monitor press and banding tools within an assembly cell while maintaining a strong focus on safety, quality, and efficiency. If you're detail-oriented, reliable, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we want you on our team!
• Leads in setting up dies and related equipment
• Completes entire die changeover from last-piece to first-piece in a safe and efficient manner.
• Ability to accomplish die sets, press operations and troubleshooting of stamping processes in a methodical manner.
• Ability to change over multiple part number dies.
• Trained as Stamping Press Operator and is capable of running a press as necessary.
• Maintains work area in a clean and safe condition, following 5S standards.
• Responsible for following work instructions KanBan pull systems
• Understanding and working knowledge of all job related Quality Objectives, Quality System Policies, Procedures, and Instructions.
• Qualifications & Skills
• + High school diploma or GED required + Ability to read and interpret safety, production, and quality documents + Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work + Positive team player with effective communication skills + Able to lift/move up to 40 pounds and perform various physical tasks + Familiarity with manufacturing processes and quality standards a plus
