Press Brake Operator

Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate Bystronic CNC machines to perform precision machining operations
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications to determine machining operations
• Select and install cutting tools, tool holders, fixtures, and other accessories according to specifications
• Load and unload workpieces into the machine using materials handling equipment
• Monitor machine operations to ensure proper functioning and make adjustments as necessary
• Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy using precision measuring instruments
• Perform routine maintenance on machines and equipment
• Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area

Qualifications:

• Previous experience operating CNC machines preferred
• Proficient in reading blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications
• Knowledge of basic math and ability to perform calculations accurately
• Familiarity with logic controllers and CNC programming
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision measuring instruments
• Ability to handle materials safely using appropriate tools and equipment
• Good manual dexterity and ability to use hand tools effectively
