What You'll Be Doing Set up press brake machines for a variety of forming, bending, and extruding operations Perform set-up inspections using appropriate precision instruments Organize processed parts and prepare workstations for production Operate press brake safely and efficiently Maneuver materials using fork trucks or pallet jacks Observe machine operations to detect defects or malfunctions Occasionally sort, buff, or grind parts as needed Quality Measure and visually inspect products for surface and dimensional accuracy Use micrometers, calipers, protractors, indicators, and height gauges Perform in-process inspections and ensure conformance to specifications Maintenance Perform minor machine maintenance such as cleaning Complete daily safety checks and document accordingly Documentation Accurately completed production and inspection documentation Train employees on proper procedures and techniques Report safety or quality issues to supervisors immediately
What We're Looking For:
Education & Experience High School Diploma or equivalent required Experience inspecting products using precision measuring tools 3-5 year of experience operating a press brake (Amada preferred) Knowledge & Skills Understanding of production processes and quality control Familiarity with bend allowances and blueprint reading Proficiency in using inspection tools and basic shop math Strong communication, critical thinking, and active listening skills Abilities Manual dexterity and multi-limb coordination Ability to lift up to 35 pounds and perform repetitive motions Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures Work Environment Fast-paced, hands-on manufacturing setting Frequent use of hands and arms; vision requirements include close and color vision Ready to bring your press brake expertise to a company that values precision, safety, and teamwork?
