Press Brake Operator•Weekend Shift (Sheet Metal Manufacturing)
Location:
Vadnais Heights, MN Pay:
$24.00•$32.00 per hour
Schedule:
Friday, Saturday, Sunday | 6:00 AM•6:30
PM Bonus:
4 Additional Hours of Pay Each Week Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Press Brake Operator to join our weekend shift team. This role is responsible for setting up and operating press brake equipment to bend and form sheet metal parts while supporting daily production goals, quality standards, and on-time delivery. The ideal candidate will have experience with press brake setup, tooling, blueprint reading, and sheet metal fabrication processes. Key Responsibilities Set up and operate press brake equipment to bend and form sheet metal parts according to blueprint specifications. Support daily production activities while helping achieve productivity and delivery goals. Coordinate workflow and ensure materials, tools, and information are available to complete work efficiently. Train and support team members on machine setup, tooling, blueprint interpretation, and quality requirements. Troubleshoot machine setups, tooling issues, bend allowances, and production challenges to minimize downtime. Inspect parts and verify conformance to quality standards, specifications, and company procedures. Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and manufacturing documentation. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment. Follow all company safety policies and manufacturing best practices. Qualifications High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience. Minimum of 2 years of press brake experience. Strong knowledge of press brake setup, tooling, and sheet metal fabrication processes. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. Strong communication and teamwork skills. High attention to detail and commitment to producing quality parts. Ability to bend, lift, load, and unload workpieces throughout the shift. Capable of alternating between sitting, standing, and moving between workstations as needed. #NowHiring
