Press Brake Operator, where your expertise in metal fabrication and precision machining will drive the creation of high-quality components. In this role, you will operate and set up a Cincinnati press brake machine to bend and form sheet metal with accuracy and efficiency. Your mechanical knowledge, attention to detail, and commitment to safety will ensure that every project meets our rigorous standards. Responsibilities Set up and operate Cincinnati press brake machine to bend sheet metal according to technical drawings and specifications Interpret mechanical blueprints, technical drawings, and shop math to determine proper machine setup and operation Use measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges for quality control and precision measurement during fabrication Adjust tooling, die sets, and machine parameters to achieve desired angles, dimensions, and tolerances Perform routine maintenance on press brake equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance Collaborate with team members on fabrication projects involving CNC laser cutting, plasma cutting, CNC programming, and other forming machines Conduct quality inspections throughout the process to verify accuracy, consistency, and adherence to safety standards in production Requirements Proven experience operating press brake machines in a manufacturing or metal fabrication environment Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints accurately Familiarity with CNC laser cutting, CNC programming, plasma cutting, CNC milling machines, CNC lathe operations, stamping presses, welding, forming machines, and electrical discharge machining is a plus Ability to use measuring instruments for precision measurement and quality control purposes Knowledge of shop math, basic math skills necessary for machining calculations and measurements Understanding of safety standards in production environments with adherence to safety protocols at all times Experience with machine operation including setup, tooling selection, calibration, and troubleshooting Mechanical aptitude combined with hands-on experience using hand tools and fabrication equipment Strong communication skills for effective teamwork and interpretation of technical documentation This role offers an engaging environment where your skills directly contribute to the creation of durable metal products.
