Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented Press Brake Operator to join our team. This position will also be enabled to handle other machining and shop tasks, such as a table saw, the assembly of ACM panels, work with power tools, and potentially CNC Machining. For individuals that lack the specific machine knowledge, but have experience in machining or fabrication, we are willing to teach. We are looking for individuals who are open to learning different elements of shop work and design, as the tasks vary from day to day. This position offers an excellent opportunity for someone who is eager to grow alongside a leading fabricator of cladding and sheet metal in the region. The Machine Operator will work closely with the Operator Manager, to produce specified materials that are required for a variety of projects. Responsibilities
- Operate Press Brake machine to produce various products and materials
- Must follow all company and OSHA policies, procedures, and guidelines including following company PPE requirements
- Will perform scheduled maintenance and keep machine clean
- Must perform quality checks on finished product to ensure they meet the designed criteria
- Package and label finished product and load for delivery
- Will also help fabricate and general warehouse work when not bending with Press Brake
- Maintain a clean and safe workstation
- Ability to use hand and power tools, including but not limited to Hammers, Metal Files, Grinders, Saws, Drills, and Measuring Tools
- Various other shop responsibilities as needed, such as forklift operation, table saw operation, finishing of material, folding and assembly of panel cladding or mock-ups Skills
- Flexible and dependable, able to perform effectively in varied environmental and operational settings
- Experience in Manufacturing or Fabrication
- Can work well alone or as part of a team
- Self-motivated
- Good problem-solving skills
- Able to follow written and verbal instruction
- Basic computer and math skills
- Attention to detail and ability to produce consistent work
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with team members
- Ability to work independently and meet material deadlines Other

- Experience required
- OSHA-10 Certification preferred but not required, we will certify the right candidate
- Must be able to obtain forklift certification (experience preferred but not required)
- Job involves continuous standing
