Job Description
CNC Press Brake Operator ADM Custom Metal Nutley, NJ Job Details Full-time $20 - $30 an hour 1 hour ago Benefits Paid holidays Health insurance Paid time off Retirement plan Qualifications Press brake machine English Attention to detail Mechanical knowledge CNC Full Job Description ADM has been in business since 1983 and we're looking to add a CNC Press Brake Operator to our team. Whether you're new to press brakes or have a few years under your belt, we want to talk. Press brake work is where sheet metal parts get their shape. It's precision work, and the operators who are good at it are genuinely skilled and hard to replace. Here's what makes ADM different: we've invested in modern equipment that lowers the barrier to becoming a competent operator. Our Trumpf brakes run Flux offline programming (so most of the trial-and-error happens before a part ever hits the machine), automatic crowning (so bends stay consistent without you fighting the setup), and quick-change tooling (so you spend more time bending and less time swapping tools). You'll still develop real skill running these machines. But you'll get there faster, with less frustration, than you would on older equipment. One thing to know about press brake work: it's more repetitive than most other machines in the shop. You might run the same 8 bends on the same part for a few days straight, wait a bit, then do it again. Some people love the rhythm of that kind of focused, precision work. Others don't. If you're the kind of person who settles into a groove and takes pride in doing the same thing well over and over, you'll do great here. WHY ADM Over 40 years in business. Stable, established, and still growing Modern Trumpf press brakes with Flux offline programming, auto crowning, and quick-change tooling Real trade skill you can build a career on. Good press brake operators are always in demand Employer covers 75% of healthcare premium for employee (after 90 days) Simple IRA retirement plan (after 6 months) Paid time off per NJ law and paid company holidays Steady day shift, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with overtime as needed Small-shop culture.
