Job Description

Hydraulic Press Brake Operator Job Description:
To form parts by programming the hydraulic press brake to bend thin gauge sheet metal according to customer blue prints within specifications.
Duties:
Follows work instruction and procedures Comes to work on time every day and takes pride in his/her job Bends sheet metal in sequences with a hydraulic press brake by reading blue prints in the flat Verifies operation results through inspection with calipers Documents actions by completing records Maintains safe work environment by following procedures and complying with legal regulations Keeps equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining tools All duties as assigned
Skills/Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of Hydraulic Press Brake Experience Basic understanding of mathematical and bending conversions Experience reading and interpreting drawings/blueprints, and working with tolerances +/- .010-.015 in thinner gauge sheet metals Ability to be flexible with jobs and work equipment as determined by supervisors Hands on experience with electronic and mechanical inspection equipment: dial calipers, dial indicators, micrometers, height stands, gage blocks and pin gages, thread gages, etc. PC skills in graphing and charting a plus
ISO 9001
experience desired Physical stamina to stand for a 8-10 hour shift and lift 30lbs. Able to handle and bend longer sheets and panels of thin gauge metal

$22.00 - $27.00 per hour
