  • $24 an hour 1 day ago Benefits AD&D insurance Disability insurance Health insurance Dental insurance Flexible spending account Qualifications Press brake machine Blueprint specification interpretation Dimensional measurements Precision measurement in machining Full Job Description Step into a high-precision afternoon on our fabrication floor At 3:00 pm, you power up multiple CNC press brakes, review the day's BOMs and blueprints, and plan your setups.
You'll dial in tooling, make program edits, and run first articles. Throughout the evening, you'll inspect parts for accuracy, keep your area organized, and move materials with a forklift as needed—all while maintaining strict safety practices across departments. If challenges arise, you'll recognize issues with flat patterns before or after forming and adjust accordingly. Your expertise with Amada (and familiarity with Dener) keeps production moving smoothly and to spec. Schedule 3:00 pm
  • 2:00 am (training may run 10:00 am
  • 8:30 pm for the first few weeks) Compensation $19

What you'll do Set up, edit, and operate multiple press brake machines (CNC) Read and interpret BOMs/blueprints; select appropriate materials Conduct quality inspections of finished parts Maintain a clean, organized workspace Move materials using a forklift Follow all safety requirements in every department What you bring 3+ years operating press brakes or similar forming equipment Strong blueprint/schematic reading ability and BOMs, picklists, routers (travelers) understanding Experience with multiple CNC press brakes; Amada and Dener experience preferred Proficiency with precision measuring tools: calipers, tape measures, measuring tables, protractors, etc. Ability to diagnose issues with flat patterns before and after forming Ability to identify materials by sight (carbon, stainless, aluminum) Core proficiencies Precision measurement & hand metrology Machine setups for production runs Shop math skills Blueprint reading Primary equipment Press Brake (Amada)
