A day in the life of a Press Brake Operator would look like:

• Set up and operate CNC and manual press brake machines.
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work orders.
• Select the correct tooling and dies for each production run.
• Measure and inspect finished parts using tape measures, calipers, micrometers, squares, and other precision measuring tools.
• Perform first-piece and in-process quality inspections to ensure parts meet specifications.
• Adjust machine settings as needed to maintain quality and efficiency.
• Load, unload, and position metal materials safely.
• Maintain production records and complete required documentation.
• Follow all safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Work closely with supervisors and team members to meet production goals.
